Dallas was arguably the most entertaining team to watch in the NHL.  That will not change this season.  They boast the most potent offense in the league, leading the NHL with 267 goals last season.  But, they had the worst defense in the league among the teams that made the playoffs.  They set out this summer to improve on that, bringing in stay-at-home defenseman Dan Hamhuis to replace Alex Goligoski, who left in free agency.  Dallas is proving that you can win with an offense focused team in today’s nhl, and we should expect that they will make the playoffs fairly easy yet again this season.
